Velocity 83 does GPS

Velocity 83 does GPS

This GPS equipped phone from Velocity is simply called ‘83″ and it runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Apparently it was unveiled at CTIA in San Francisco and is expected to hit the shelves as soon as this November. The price: $500. A bit too much considering it doesn’t do 3G. The features are still plenty though. 2MP camera, WiFi antenna, quad-band GSM, and a sharp 2.8″ screen.

The interesting part is the dual micoSD card slots. One of them is for your usual storage and other is dedicated to holding your maps for the navigation software. Not a bad idea eh?…
