Sanyo has a big line of Gorilla GPS navigation systems and they added a few new ones just yesterday. The new systems are called Sanyo Gorilla NVA-GS1580FT (pictured above), NV-SD750FT, and NV-SB510DT. All system share most of their specs which include 4GB solid state drive, TV tuner, and a new feature called EcoDrive which attempts to save the earth. Except NV-SB510DT which has a 5.2″ screen; these GPS navigation systems feature a 7″ screen.

These possibly won’t make it to the U.S. but if you’re in Japan look for them starting November 20th…

G5 connected GPS navigation system

Chinese dMedia is getting ready to display a new GPS navigation system called G5. This is their first attempt at a two way connected device that features a GSM/CDMA module.

It would be an understatement to call this just a navigation system as G5 also features a digital TV antenna that can play your favorite shows on its 5″ screen. You can also use it as a phone thanks to its speaker and microphone. There’s also the A2DP Bluetooth which provides the convenience of wireless audio through your earpiece during navigation voice guide, listening music, or phone conversations.

It offers text to speech feature, FM transmitter to broadcast the sound through your car stereo, and supports various multimedia files so you can keep yourself entertained while your girlfriend tries on her 8th outfit in one store.

We don’t have any information when this device will the shelves in the U.S., if at all but you may be pleased to know that G5 has an open platform that allows 3rd party applications to be developed and applied on it.
