ALK Technologies just announced recently that their CoPilot Live GPS navigation system is now available for Android phones. You can already grab it from Android Market for your HTC Magic, HTC Dream or the new HTC Hero - for only $35.
With CoPilot the maps are stored locally on the phone, rather than relying on wireless internet which can be quite slow at times. However there are still some ‘Live’ which utilizes the mobile Internet connection such as real-time traffic alerts, 5-day weather forecast information and a new location sharing service called CoPilot LiveLink.

The World's Smallest, Potentially Seediest GPS, GSM and RF Tracker
It looks like a nondescript battery, but this is actually the world's smallest GPS, GSM and RF tracking device.
The recently released CATS.i measures just 45mm x 35mm x 12mm, and makers say it can be used to track cars, pets and even people. Given that they also claim this is the 'most covert' tracking device of its type and is 'almost undetectable when being worn', I'm not sure I want to know who their normal customers are.
The device uses a built-in GSM sim chip to report back its GPS data, either constantly or at set intervals, which can then be tracked online. It is battery powered but can also be hardwired to vehicles, or even solar power—though the makers don't specify how. Quad band GSM, GSP and RF ensures you should be able to monitor the people you are stalking—sorry, tracking—wherever they go.

Trywin DTN-VX003 GPS navigation system
Now they have GPS navigation systems with OLED screens in Japan. Called DTN-VX003, and manufactured by Trywin this device has a 4.1″ touch display with 480x272 resolution and offers a spacious 4GB internal memory.
Other features include SD/SDHC memory expansion slot, 1Seg Digital TV tuner, FM radio, FM transmitter, and multimedia support.

It looks like Nextar is trying to stay afloat in this economy by releasing GPS navigation systems fit for every budget. Their latest is the Nextar 43LT which has a 4.3″ screen and offers life traffic updates from Navteq’s RDS-TMC service (see coverage). It only costs $170.

Hemisphere GPS XF101 is an add on to the field computer ‘The Archer’ built by Juniper Systems of Utah.
It is a GPS receiver that integrates with the Archer handheld to provide sub-meter DGPS for location-based applications. It is lower power device so you can still use your handheld PC for a long time and is rugged enough to be even working in a pool.

Garmin Dakota 10 is one of the latest outdoor GPS handheld devices from the company. Compared to the Garmin Oregon series, the Dakota 10 is a lot cheaper and lower end.
Garmin Dakota 10 has a 2.6″ color touchscreen, weighs 6.75 ounces, and runs up to 20 hours on two AA batteries. It is also built rugged, and is waterproof (IPX7). It has worldwide basemap pre-installed and comes with 850 MB of memory, which can store 1,000 waypoints, 50 routes, 2,000 geocaches and an active tracklog of 10,000 points and 200 saved tracks. We doubt you’ll run of space.
You can expect to get yours hands on a Garmin Dakota 10 starting in September for about $300.
