GPS for truckers

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've had comments from truck drivers asking for a GPS receiver designed to fit their needs. Most major GPS manufacturers allow you to choose truck routing, but there hasn't been a device that explicitly routed for bridge heights and clearances, load limits, one-way road designations, left-hand turns, etc. Until now, that is.

TeleType has announced the WorldNav truck routing GPS, available in a 3.5' and a 7' model. In addition to the above, the devices offer ten levels of Hazmat routing.

I recently purchased a TeleType Co. GPS and had nothing but problems. It froze all of the time and it could never find an address. When you call the company for help they get annoyed. Piece of junk.

I also purchase WorldNav for truckers 7 inch machine. I had great luck so far. The unit is just right for my use. I called couple of times company. Once about how to set the clock on the unit and another time how to attach an antenna. Both time their support on toll free number was answering to me right away. I think your experience is very different from mine. Also I know the company offers money back. Did you get your money back?
