Mio’s GPS phone which we talked about back at CES 2008 looks like has an official name: Lovebird. We caught a glimpse of this one side GPS navigation, other side phone device at MSMobiles which reports that Mio Lovebird will be coming with the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional according to specs revealed at CTIA 2008.
Other details that are now clear is that it will do both GPS and A-GPS, support quad band GSM/GPRS, and EDGE networks and run on a 400Mhz Samsung 2443 processor.
Mio Lovebird will have 64MB of RAM, and 2GB of ROM (maps?) and will offer up to 5 hours of talk time. Screen resolution is 320x240 pixels.

We thought these cheap looking GPS navigation systems would never make it out of China but we were wrong. Australians now can get their hands on this sat nav system that comes with reverse gear camera. Called NR432, this GPS navigation system has a 4.3″ wide touch screen, offers text to speech function, and uses the latest Navteq Australian maps. The navigation software was developed by Smart2Go.
