Garmin Oregon 400c is for the saltwater (oceans and seas, not lakes ;) specialist. In addition to all the features of other models 400c comes with built-in BlueChart g2 coastal charts which includes shorelines, depth contours, navaids, harbors, marinas, port plans coastal roads for the U.S. and Bahamas.
The GPX file format which is used mostly in geocaching is of course supported on Oregon 400c. You can expect to get 16 hours life out of two AA batteries even with that nice 3″ screen and you can add more maps to your device with a microSD card and talk to your PC with the USB port.
Garmin Oregon 400c will cost $640 when it comes 3rd quarter of this year.
