We found some information regarding a new version of Mio C520 being displayed at IFA 2007 in Berlin. Called Mio C520tb, the device features a 4.3″ wide screen display and split-screen view for more map detail and relevant journey information.
It also offers integrated Traffic Message Channel (TMC) reports, Tele Atlas maps (2007.1), MioMap v3 software, as well as speed camera alerts and 20 channel SiRFstarIII GPS receiver. However speed camera availability is variable from country to country depending on the local law. If the law permits you’ll receive one year of speed camera locations for free when registering your device.
The ultra-slim (2cm deep, less than an inch) wide screen device also comes with a new ‘click-in’ docking cradle with a more powerful speaker for clearer driving instructions.
