HP iPAQ 914, the 3G, GPS enabled, QWERTY keyboard PDAphone was recently delayed but it looks like the consumer will benefit from this delay as the specs have slightly changed.

We have a few real life shots of the device which will be marketed in Europe in July for about 500 €.

The US version of iPAQ 914 will now come with Windows Mobile 6.1 and a more powerful battery (1940 mAh instead of the 1590 mAh). The design was also enhanced, a little thinner body, and the chrome contoured joystick.

HP iPAQ 614

HP’s iPAQ 614 Business Navigator features a 3.0-megapixel camera, 2.8-inch TFT display, a Marvell PXA270 processor (520-MHz), 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, microSD memory card slot, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and USB connectivity.

The new HP iPAQ 614 is a combines everything a businessperson needs. It is very fast, and since it offers a few navigation solutions, you are able to choose the one that fits you best. Unfortunately, its speakerphone is unusable and the sound quality during a talk is not the best, but it can be adjusted via an external wireless device

HP iPAQ 310 Travel Companion

The HP iPAQ 310 tries to be fifteen different things in one, including a GPS receiver, PDA, MP3 player, video player, handheld gaming device, and more. Sadly, it’s a jack-of-all-trades device that is not very good at any of these things. We’d cut it some slack if just the GPS worked as expected, but sadly even that functionality is plagued with issues. The overall main issue with this product is that regardless of what feature you are trying to use, it is not user friendly, and in most cases reading the manual won’t help since it’s remarkably incomplete and lacking information on a wide array of topics.

Mio readying new device: one side phone, other side GPS

mio-two-side-phone.jpg

We came across this brand new device from Mio that doesn’t even have a name yet. The reps were not nice enough to share with us just a couple of details though. This GPS phone has two sides, and two displays. One side of the device is dedicated to the GPS function and the other side is for using as regular GSM phone.

We’ll keep you updated as we find out more.

HP iPAQ Navigate

HP announced a new website called HP iPAQ Navigate which lets you plan your trips, search for POIs from your computer and then transfer them to your device. Even though iPAQ 310 features bluetooth we believe the transfer part can only be done via the mini USB port.

The website is a nice add-on for iPAQ 310 user. And it is free of course…
