Becker Traffic Assist Pro Z 302 Truck Navigation
Our European penpal Becker has come with a new GPS navigation system for trucks. It is called Becker Traffic Assist Pro Z 302.
Becker Traffic Assist Pro Z 302, is their first mobile truck navigation system. The truck drivers can define profiles that are tailored specifically to his/her vehicle and payload. This profile includes details such as height, width, length, axle number, and weight which is then analyzed to calculate the optimal route. Impassable roads, tunnels and bridges are excluded depending on the profile data and possible, alternative routes are offered for selection in a map view so that the driver can choose the best route for him.
The device also includes a remote controller (see photo above) which would especially be helpful if you were not able to reach the windshield. In case you’re not following - this is a GPS navigation system for trucks. Other features include bluetooth connectivity, 3D buildings and landscapes, text-to-speech, TMC traffic updates, and of course a relatively large 4.3″ touch screen.
